Okanagan Real Estate – Lifestyle of the Relaxed

7 acre of country living, minutes to town, log home with swimming pool…I have always enjoyed looking at homes, going to open houses on Sundays or even buying Unique Homes Magazine and dreaming about California and Florida Mansions.
Recently I watched a video company make four takes to get the natural shot of a person walking. There were all sorts of things interfering in the natural sequence, like people walking by. Conventional commercial.
TV broadcasting, advertisers and marketing companies have defined what we see, how we feel about things etc. for far too long and although they are still trying to maintain control, things are changing thanks to the Internet and services like YouTube.
Things like making people thinner than they are on magazine covers using effects, plastic food in TV commercials to make the stuff look edible and actors with scripts to portray ordinary people all are an insult to our intelligence. Do we look like we just fell of a turnip truck?
We are showing a listing by Century 21 Executive Realty in Vernon, its real, the realtor did not have a script, her feelings and thoughts are as they happened. And our tour of the home is with the home owner, who better to tell us about what has been her home.
