How do i find a commerical property for rent with land?
I want to start a dog daycare service but first I need to find a property with both a building, at least 1,000sqft and some land at least .75 acres. But every time I go to search on sites like century21 they never have any buildings and land, just one or the other. How do I find a place that has both?
You will need zoning for that too, you can’t just up and decide to do that on any land. Usually it has to be outside city limits.

Go to a commercial real estate agency. You have to leave your dark dungeon to do so and go out into the light of day and visit their actual office, not their virtual one. Sometimes people are more effective than machines.They do not charge anything. They have far more extensive records than you can find online.
I recently bought a property 1250 miles from where I was living. The Internet took me to the locale and gave me an idea what was available. A live agent took me to properties that had exactly what I wanted which included: a view of the ocean, a cost that I could afford and a location that met my needs for all the services life requires one to use (shopping, entertainment, etc.) The net is only good to a point and that point is where real knowledge of specific properties is involved.
Best of luck to you … and please do not rent too close to where I am living. I love my dog but I really don’t need to hear 2000 of them yapping all night or baying at the moon because they are lonely!
Also, remember that you will need to establish yourself at a property that is zoned for your purpose. That will narrow down the number of such properties available.
