I have a crazy question, it’s about buying a house.?
Ok SO. I’m 15 and my boyfriend is 18. We’ve been together for 3 years and he’s moving I’m sooo sad. However! I found this house in my town for $900!!!!!!!!! A perfectly awesome house/apartment for sale not rent! (I’ve seen it and the pictures inside)
1) Why is it only $900? lol it says $5.00 a month on Century21
2) Can we actually buy it? Is there a certain age you have to be?!?!
He works a steady job and we both have more than $900 in the bank haha.
This is the craziest thing I’ve heard today lol. Our parents would never let it happen. But I was just wondering is it possible for us to buy it?!?

It is very unlikely this house would ever sell for that amount. Could be a scam. Could be a mistake. Could be in Detroit. The best thing would be to call the number for Century 21 and ask them about it. They will likely give an excuse as to why that house isn’t right for you and then try to sell you something else.
You are not old enough to enter into a legal contract and therefore could not purchase the house yourself. Your boyfriend is old enough and could legally buy one if he could qualify for the mortgage.

1) You may want to check how long the house has been advertised in the market? Have you seen the house in your own eyes (Not through pics). Is it in a livable condition? It doesn’t matter even if it cost only $1 when you need to spend thousands to get it fixed up.
2) You are obviously underage to buy the house legally and definitely too young to move out.
