I would love to have that facility for a rescue but the fact that they are selling the dogs too is just mortifying.

it is a boarding facility…it doesn’t say puppy mill.
you would have to talk to the owner to see what he did there to determine if it was a puppy mill. just b/c the are unspayed animals does not mean the are bred…but they do have the possibility
by saying it is a puppy mill you are bringing a whole bunch of issues to the table..and you just assumed that is what it was.
have you ever seen a boarding facility or a puppy mill?
you do not know exactly how the owners take care of these dogs either…like i said you would have to talk to them.
it is an assumption that you have made. why don’t u call the owner or the realtor, to find out exactly what is going on.
you have to look at all possiblities not just one.
and i didn’t say you were stupid.

Wow!
It’s disgusting but I doubt it’s illegal, since puppy mills aren’t illegal.
Cruelty to animals is, but that wouldn’t be provable from what they showed.
Kristi – it clearly states that 70 breeding dogs come with the property. So she’s correct.

Well look where it is??? In one of the biggest areas know for puppy mills! I laughed at the pet hotel gimmick!
Ya like someone will believe that! Plus they will throw in the dogs too! I think the ASPCA should investigate that one.
It just makes me sad and to think that Century 21 agent thinks is a selling point is really sickening! UGH!

Yes. It breaks my heart to see things like this. It is not illegal as long as they have a current kennel license and have passed inspection. Here is a link to look at about Oklahoma and it’s puppy-mill problem. It is just sickening.

Wow… if it didn’t come with the dogs i would buy it myself so i could start up my own dog rescue some day… heck i would buy it even WITH the dogs just to help them. Unfortunately i am a poor college student and i would definitely check that it were legal to buy/sell like this.
Did it say anywhere WHY it was being sold? Any info about the dogs in general?
Looking at the pics – The place seems to be in okay condition. And the price is really low – wonder why. it would be great for a local organization (like the SPCA) to get their hands on it for extra boarding room…. or maybe a person wanting to start their own rescue but has the money (unlike me, who wants it but doesn’t have the money.)

Okay to answer this, yes I just saw this and read the website,…..this is so wrong………Get ready, I just emailed and blasted their office, then I called and got the DA’s office, and informed them, they are going to open a case on a possible puppy mill……….so my office is gonna follow up on this to make sure something is done.
this is unreal….I thought Century 21 was reputable, not any more….I am sure when they get the email I sent them, they may withdraw the listing….I called the local Century 21 here and the office said, they would also contact the Atoka office, this is the kind of listing they never handle….we will see.
I am out raged at these people.
I feel so sorry for the dogs.

No, I have never seen a set up like this for a for dogs. But, my neighbor raises white rabbits and it looks almost identical to this setup except they don’t go have an opening to go outside.
That looks really bad for dogs! No room to exercise or be loved or anything! I wouldn’t buy it!
