  20. LeftLiberalSoCal Says:

    Your insane! LA is …
Your insane! LA is a 3rd world city. The rich own everything and are segregated. The middle class rents. A decent house costs 2 million dollars. The majority of the city is poor! There is just a rich elite that rules the city! 66% rent! You have never seen such a city in America where the rich rule everything just like a 3rd world country and the taxes ARE INSANE! 9.5-10.55% state plus traffic tickets @ 3.5 x the base + taxes taxes taxes. You have to be rich just to breathe fresh air in LA!

  21. LeftLiberalSoCal Says:

    In Los Angeles they …
In Los Angeles they are demanding 400-700k for a house in the barrio / ghetto. I’m talking a one story 1/2 built in 1940 with bars on the windows and gangsters in the streets. Graffiti everywhere. High crime. I cannot imagine who would EVER pay $50k for one of those places let alone what they claim they are worth. But of course all the Realtors insist they are worth the asking price. Go figure! 8) They are a very fake nasty arrogent profession. I wish they would all just get out of the way.

  22. LeftLiberalSoCal Says:

    Exactly. And I …
Exactly. And I don’t know what Realtor’s are for anymore. They are just salesmen. The internet has made them near obsolete. They are down to thier last card — the MLS. Realtors are no longer the gatekeepers of information. I’ve dealt with 20-30 in my life and they were ALL bad. It’s only when I have kicked the Realtors aside and gone out on my own and found a good deal. Perhaps the first thing Realtors need to realize is this is a a BUYERS MARKET. This is not 2004-2006 anymore.

  23. Renitamac Says:

    I believe you. I’ve …
I believe you. I’ve had realtors send me pictures of houses/condos that cost 300,000 and up and they seriously look hardly better than your run of the mill abandoned meth lab and are 1 or 2 bedrooms. In Atlanta, that amount will get you a nice BRAND NEW 4 bedroom in a nice neighborhood.

  24. LeftLiberalSoCal Says:

    For everyone who …
For everyone who wants to move here – you better stop beliving what Hollywood tells you on TV. Los Angeles is the land of the 1) Haves and the 2) Have not’s. THERE IS NO MIDDLE CLASS. You will work for 50-60-100k per year and your STANDARD OF LIVING (especially in terms of housing) will be LESS THAN a 7-11 employee in Blair Nebraska. Honestly! The rich own the entire city. 66% of the population RENTS FROM THEM. This is NOT the place to start a new life. Only come if you are young.

  25. LeftLiberalSoCal Says:

    If you are just …
If you are just starting off in your career and under 27 then move here to get your experience. If not I would strongly reconsider. Outragous taxes, unaffordable housing (you need 800k just for a regular house). The rich own everything here. There is no missle class! The East side is a barrio/ghetto. You make 50-60-80-100k per year and you live in a 1/1 500sq apartment for $1,200.00 month. Traffic tickets? $1000 each. Taxes? OUTRAGOUS. Lots of smog. You will pay pay pay. Consider all this first.
